This is out of the blue, but do you all know about the term from the title, ‘Yuri’？ Originally in Japanese, it refers to a specific white flower, but among otaku, it’s a term for romance and relationship between girls!

And so! This 2023 Spring anime that we are featuring in the article today is also an anime related to this ‘Yuri’! But, this ‘Yuri’ is a little bit special......?

Watashi no Yuri wa Oshigoto Desu!(Yuri Is My Job!) is such a popular manga that they’ve even won the Next Manga Award in 2018! Currently, up to vol. 11 is available in comics!

The secret to its popularity is the cute but not just cute......!?The interaction between characters that develop through part-time work and incidents is so appealing!

The main character, Shiraki Hime, is a girl who’s recognized as ‘cute!’ not just in her class but also in her entire school! She’s quite aware of it too, and she’s hoping to have an easy future by marrying a rich buy but......

One day! She causes a light injury to a girl who accidentally (?) bumps into her in the city, Koshiba Mai.(She honestly doesn’t seem injured at all)Hime ends up helping out at Mai’s part-time work place, the Concept Café- Liebe Girls Academy, for just one day.

The concept of this Liebe Girls Academy is ‘elite all-girls school’！Workers dress-up as students from an elite girls school to serve the customers, but they are also putting on a performance by acting to interact with each other elegantly like high-class all girls high school!

Hime is very aware of her cute looks, but she’s not interested in making that into a performance. She pretends to be shy on purpose and try to leave ASAP, but the customers misunderstand it as a newbie who’s just not used to her work yet.

Hime has high pride, so she behaves perfectly as a Liebe Girls Academy student in front of the customers!

But then, at that time, she calls Yano Mitsuki, who was working at the same time, ‘Onee-sama’ to indicate that she’s an upperclassman.

But...... This was the beginning of the incident. At this Liebe Girls Academy, ‘the upper and lower-classmen who promise to have a sister-like special close relationship’ are called Schwester and need to act especially close. The nickname ‘Onee-sama’ is precisely a term to indicate relationship between Schwester. On top of that, she uses the term in front of many customers, so the customers started wanting to see more interaction between Hime and Yano, asking for it on the official home page’s bulletin board!

So Hime ends up needing to work until Mai is recovered from her injury and returns to work...... But the 2 didn’t know yet that Hime and Yano didn’t ‘meet’ at Liebe Girls Academy, but they ‘reunited’......!
