What Is Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari?

I think it’s pretty rare that the isekai-genre series or the light novel series is adapted into a play, huh? (Usually, manga or anime tend to be adapted into a play.) Maybe this series is that popular!!

Outline of Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari!

A boy named Iwatani Norifumi is summoned to isekai and has lost everything within three days.
This is a story of isekai fantasy, where he manages to survive “from the very bottom”!

Here comes his new partner named Raphtalia, a demi-human slave, who has lost her parents being killed.
Not being able to attack as the Shield Hero, he ends up asking Raphtalia for it.

To go back to the previous world, there are only two options: All four summoned heroes die or defeat the ‘Waves.’ Naofumi has decided to survive and tried to get rid of the ‘Waves.’ And he chose Raphtalia, a demi-human slave, as his partner who would not betray him.

Although Raphtalia seemed vigilant about Naofumi at first, she finally came to hope to be strong for Naofumi, feeling grateful for him after he has trained her both strictly and kindly and he has tried to get over trauma where she has lost her parents with her, instead of abandoning her!

One of the best things about this world is that this demi-human Raphtalia looks more mature every time her level goes up! Raphtalia, who grows up to be strong for Norifumi...... is a character who makes us feel that we’re parenting her!

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari is really a good story?

In my opinion, it’s pretty good!! It’s worth watching! It’s a little serious but classic type of story! Above all, the main protagonist, Norifumi, is so smart that he got rid of all the villains and difficulties in 1st season, which thrilled and satisfied me!! There are no so many grotesque scenes either, so those who want to enjoy watching a super classic fantasy and famous anime, this is it!!

One of the negative points about this series is...... it’s hard to find one but I would say there are not so many gag elements in the storyline...... But the characters are so cute, which makes us feel relaxed! So, it really doesn’t matter, actually!

To me, it’s annoying but also interesting that Norifumi doesn’t seem to be interested in these girls although they are super cute! Raphtalia, good luck!! I’ll always support your love!!

1st season is quite fun but I’ve heard that those who have read the light novel said it would be much more fun from 2nd season!! As for the original light novel, 22 volumes have been released so far and it seems like 2nd Season anime will cover Vol. 1 to 4......?

Norifumi and other characters have significantly grown up after 1st Season. Is he able to go back to the original world after he gets rid of the ‘Waves’......? Check it out!
