“THE IDOLM@STER” is an idol-nurturing series including arcade games which Namco (Currently known as Bandai Namco Games) started since July 26, 2005. Namco maintains its popularity by creating adaptations to other media・+(*゜∀゜*)+・!!
The story is basically moving forward with a producer of an idol production company having an emotional involvement, and in anime version since July 2011 which I’m most familiar with, not only the one person, but also each contracted idol is focused, so the focus is relatively wider. I recommend you to check the anime first of all, and enjoy stories of characteristic girls who belong to their production company called “765 Production”. Once you get your favorite girl, you can go lessons together to get her to become a top-idol in game version! Some episodes in game version are not described in anime version, so you will like her more and more!
I still think that the most attractive point in THE IDOLM@STER is the girls with different characteristics! (* ｀・ω・´) There are over 200 girls who the main character produced in the whole series, and the derived works introduce more new characters (；＾_＾) Also, such a big numbers of girls establish each unique attractiveness as characters!! As the anime version mentioned above is a story about characters in the beginning of the series, there were already too many cute girls to choose. In spite of the limited 26 stories in 2 cours*, changes of girls growing up to idols, and how they confront difficulties together were so impressive…( ；∀；)

My favorite character in THE IDOLM@STER is a shy and withdrawn girl Yukiho Hagiwaraヽ(*´∀｀)ﾉﾟ!!! She feels weak soon, and is still passive as an idol.
As stories go on, she kind of shows her effort to change! Of course she doesn’t change dramatically, but the bond with her friends is described well, which makes us feel the unforgettable event to users. Also, she scares easily and acts too strangely (she is shy enough to hide herself in a hole she digs) and there are several charming points such as she’s afraid of dogs enormously (* ｀・ω・´) Although she tries to fix those as her weakness, I think it’s still okay even if her withdrawn character is not fixed! That’s why she is cute! If you have experienced to fall into love with characters that needs to be protected, you will see she is the one and you will like her without notice!!
As mentioned above, the series of THE IDOLM@STER is widely open to everyoneヽ(・∀・)人(・∀・)ﾉ. You will find (almost surely!) your favorite character, so if you are interested in girls’ youth stories, please check this out!!
By the way, currently the series has social games of “THE IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls”, “THE IDOLM@STER MILLION LIVE!”, “THE IDOLM@STER SideM”, and an anime movie of “TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SPARKLE”. Also, “THE IDOLM@STER: Cinderella Girls” was decided to be animated in Media Mix*. This series will be more and more expanded in the future too, so you better check this series now!!
