And so today! It’s been confirmed that a popular series’ brand-new spin-off (sequel) showing the ‘afterwards’ is going to be produced!

But!!!...... that ‘future’ is way too unusual!

This is the ‘sequel’ that everyone wanted to know, but had never been drawn, the forbitten ‘sequels’!

And so today! Believe it or not, Pretty Cure Series, considered as THE magic girl anime, its spin-off and a forbidden sequel production has been confirmed, so we will do a feature!

The theme is precisely, ‘Pretty Cure’ series for adults!

Let’s check which 2 works’ future is going to be told along with the currently released newest information!

1st Sequel Production work is ‘Yes! PreCure 5’!

The first work that’s getting the sequel production is the 3rd Pretty Cure Series aired around 2007, ‘Yes! PreCure 5’!

It’s been said that this will show what ‘Yes! PreCure 5’ characters are doing after they are grown up, a ‘Pretty Cure’ series for adults!

The gist of the ‘Yes! PreCure 5’ story is that a Fairy kingdom, Palmier Kingdom, is taken over by evil. The fairies that escaped from there gets help from girls who can turn into Precure to rebuild Palmier Kingdom! Basically!

I personally consider ‘Yes! PreCure 5’ a popular work that has the sequel ‘Yes! PreCure 5 GoGo!’ Now that I think about it, I remember that the main character Nozomi and fairy Coco seemed like they could get into a romantic relationship, but it doesn’t quite get there...... they are interested in each other but can’t make the move, that kind of uneasy relationship!

I actually do want to see what happens to these two ‘afterwards’ after the kingdom is fixed and the two goes separate ways in the last episode!!

And! What’s even more shocking is that the anime that shows the ‘afterwards’ to ‘PreCure 5’ is expected to air in October, 2023!!

2nd Sequel Production work is ‘Mahoutsukai Precure!’

‘Mahoutsukai Precure!’ is the 13th Pretty Cure Series that aired around 2016! I feel like it was pretty recent, and I find it surprising that they chose this one to do a ‘sequel’ to!

One big characteristic of ‘Mahoutsukai Precure!’ is that it’s themed around ‘Magic’ unlike the previous series!

The general idea is that! Mirai from a non-magic world (human world) and Riko from the magic world becomes Precure together to fight against the evil wizards!

I personally don’t think there was any romantic scenes...... but, Pretty Cure Series had 2 episodes worth an epilogue that showed some unusual maturity!

Personally, ‘Mahoutsukai Precure!’ didn’t have any romantic scenes like ‘Yes! PreCure 5,’ but...... toward the end in the 49th and 50th episode, they showed Mirai and friends grown up as college students!

They clearly showed each character’s ‘future dreams aspirations!’ and it was a good ending that made me imagine how their future will be~!

So if they are going to do a sequel to this last episode...... it’s hard to imagine what the story will be about. Maybe it will even have new main characters? Because I recall it was such a well-rounded series!

As of now, ‘Mahoutsukai Precure!’ has only announced that its anime series will air in 2024! And they haven’t even announced whether Mirai and friends will be the main character or not. It’s seriously exciting to find out what the story will be like!
