Doujin Republic Staff's Report on Comic Market 103 Participation!!

This article is a after report from our staff who attended Comiket 103.

Comiket 103 took place at the end of last December, hosting over 20,000 circles, making it Japan's largest doujinshi event.

The number of attendees for this Comiket 103 reached approximately 270,000.

Previously, the event experienced a significant reduction in participants due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with recent relaxations in regulations, the number of visitors has been gradually returning to normal. Indeed, being on-site gave the impression of a larger crowd compared to before.

Comiket 103 features not only doujin circles but also corporate participation. Well-known companies such as miHoYo, hololive, and TYPE MOON were present.

Various goods from recent anime, including Sousou no Frieren, were also plentiful.

In the doujin section, many attendees lined up for hours to purchase doujinshi tailored to their preferences. Popular circles, in particular, had long queues, with wait times exceeding an hour.
