“Kyoukaisen-jou no Horizon (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere)” is originally one of the works known as “GENESIS” series, and a long novel written by Kawakami Minoru.
This animated work started being broadcasted since October 2011, and the common attractive point for both novel and anime is a “depth” of stories (´v`)=3
This contains factors such as fantasy, SF, history from the setting of the stories, and “fictional-story lovers” like me were feeling them so precious, with the stories moving forward from the setting!! First of all, the original novel is so great! What made me feel great is the number of pages! This is categorized as a “light novel (casually-reading novel)” but it is not just over 500 pages. Some volumes of them are over 1,000 pages as long! You guess the world expressed in the big volume! As no frayed parts may not be found easily, there are many very realistic descriptions with full of fantasy! There were actually some scenes making me feel “depth” of the work, and I was about to pump my fist into air slightly (;^_^)
The anime has been broadcasted for 2 seasons so far, and both seasons are very popular. My recommended scene is the climax scene in the first season (`・ω・´)=3
The main character, Aoi Toori was showing his greatest endeavor of his lifetime, for the heroin, Horizon Ariadust!! How can’t you stop feeling too good to Toori and his words, who was confronting many difficulties such as people’s complicated feelings, politics, diplomacy, and moving forward his own way by his friends’ help……? At least I was almost crying (ノД`)・゚・。
Anyway, my most favorite character is the main character, Aoi Toori.
He is always acting jokingly and lively, and never looks depressed, but I often feel that he somehow has a mysterious attractiveness in the scenes (≧o≦)
It may be the same reason, but Toori has a unique aura, and always tries fighting with a lot of his reliable friends behind his back. Actually they are the one fighting basically (in battles, politics, and diplomacy)(;^_^)
However, he always wins when he needs to win, which why I feel him so cool! It’s how we feel he should be the reliable main character!!
By the way, the original novel is called as a “blunt weapon” from the thickness, but the anime also reproduces the thickness and the depth well (;^_^) Although the 1st and 2nd season are 3-month termed anime, we felt as if we had watched 4 seasons, as the density you know.
The irregular satisfying “Kyoukaisen-jou no Horizon (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere)” is one of my most recommended anime!!
