Kagerou Project is a story of boys and girls who have mysterious “eyes”.
Shintaro (Kisaragi Shintaro) is a high school student who stopped going to school because of an incident. Every day, he surfs on the Internet in his room… One day, an electronical program called Ene comes to him! Ene is a program who can move inside the computer freely, and its appearance is cute, with twin tails of blue hair!
One day, when those two went shopping to an electronic device shop, the incident happens. A thief attacks the shop and Shintaro is captured and imprisoned inside the building. Then, he encounters boys and girls who try to solve this problem in secret.
The boys and girls hade “eyes” with magical power.
This story is originally a VOCALOID song composed by JIN (the enemy of nature P). His songs have strong messages and attractive mysteries, so there are many fans in Japan.
I first knew about Kagerou Project by Kagerou Days sung by Hatsune Miku. Once he published the movie, it was played 100 000 times three days later and 1 000 000 times 4 months later. It is a legendary song.
When I first saw the movie, I didn’t understand why it was played 1 000 000 times. Although when I got to the chorus, I had nothing in my head anymore but the song. From then, I was just watching the story goes on.
It was very impressive.
The content and the end of the song was more impressive than any other VOCALOID songs. During a certain period, I was watching the movie at least once a day when I used the computer. I experienced by myself why Kagerou Days was played 1 000 000 times.
Fans like me increased on and on, and Kagerou Project is not only in the music industry but it is developed in various media such as novels and mangas.
In addition, the animation based on the story of the song was on air and new songs continue to be released. This is a VOCALOID song which predominated! These days, you can sing this song in most Japanese karaoke, and in some karaoke, you can choose the promotional video of the original song as background!
In the song, some relationships among personalities were vague, but in the animation, every small part of the story is described. After being animated, many media such as manga or novels developed actively!
If you haven’t listened to Kagerou Days, just listen to it!
In a very hot day of summer, if possible.
